http://jonandeileens.blogspot.com.au/September 27, 2013 at 3:17 pm #298Thanks Jon, that’s one great thing about having an older truck, they sat much lower than the newer ones, making it easy to get good level. Tows like a dream, very stable in winds and turns.
I see some folks with big 4×4 modern trucks towing with the fivers nose way in the air, or they have to flip the trailer axles changing the trailers center of gravity.

RVHH Chief Cook and Bottle Washer - LoveYourRV.comJune 7, 2014 at 3:55 am #4054I have a 2008 F350 that I tow my Cougar 318 with but it is only 2 wheel drive and sits lower than a 4×4. I think it has much better center of gravity than a 4×4 and my wife does not need a ladder to climb in. I live in Michigan but in all the years I owned 4×4 trucks I can count the number of times I actually needed 4 wheel drive would be on one hand.
June 7, 2014 at 7:36 am #4056Ours is a 2 wheel drive as well and sits pretty low, especially compared to a new 4x4s. Makes it a lot easier to get things out of the box.
