Brainstorming my summer project
Our RV furniture is crap and worn out so we are looking at options. we will likely get a nice recliner and I’m going to build a corner computer desk but I have a great idea for replacing the ratty old fold out sofa bed that came with the rig.
Only good thing it has is a large pull out drawer under it where we keep shoes and stuff. So I saw this idea and think I can build it and put the old drawer into it plus storage under at the back using a trap door. I would add trim or paint to match the RVs wood and we would go with a full length leather mattress pad not like in the pix with a table area but the full length and big leather pillows. Trying to go all leather so no beagle hair sticks.
Other thing that sucks about the current unit is it is not long enough to lay on and has tall arm rests. This design would make is nice to stretch out on for a nap or while watching TV

That Home Reserve site is awesome too. I’ve been wanting a chair and a half for some time, but they’re all so expensive. HR has some right up my alley and I can get a purple one…hmmm…with an ottoman….wooohooo! Buh-bye big ol honkin useless couch!
